 TRANSFORMING AND EMPOWERING PEOPLE

Picture
Friday and Grace Idawor were married in December 1982 and are blessed with two children. Pastor Friday is an exco member of the Lagos State Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. Friday is a writer and has authored many books. He has a great burden for the poor and downcast. He is unhappy about the plight of the numerous unemployed youths of Nigeria.

JUST LIKE YESTERDAY

I remember while growing up in the rural area in the fifties and sixties, there was communal love and fellowship in our communities. It seems as if it was yesterday as I recall the joy and happiness of a whole community just because one of their children gained into a higher institution. It was usually celebrated by all.

It is with that sense of communionship I introduce to you our (NGO) Grace Transformation and Empowerment Initiative. Join us and let’s serve humanity together in the spirit of God’s love and compassion. Welcome!

THREE MAIN  GOALS AND FOCUS

(1) FELLOWSHIP
The word fellowship literally means sharing together. A growing up young child in those days was said to be everyone’s child. That is the reason evil vices could really not thrive. There was no hiding place for evil doers then. One man’s success was everyone’s success. They shared together their joys and sorrows. They enjoyed fellowship with each other.  I believe that is the reason crime was not much an issue in those days. They shared together whatever they possessed just like the early church in Acts of the Apostles. Wicked people then could only practice their evil through witchcraft etc.

(2) TRAINING
Hope Alive Vocational Training Centre: Mission is to train people saved from the streets including Orphans, homeless and school drop outs to lead productive lives through self gainful employment.

(3) Medical missions
Hope Alive Medical mission is designed to provide free medical services to the less privileged in the rural area, villages, cities and towns in our nation and beyond as the need arises etc. this we intend to do in partnership with cooperate bodies, organizations and wealthy (blessed) individuals both here in Nigeria and abroad that are willing to lend a helping hand.

The Good Samaritan could not turn away his eyes when he saw the helpless man lying almost half dead in the pool of his blood. He showed him compassion and helped restore that man to live a fulfilled life. We are driven by compassion to make a difference in our world that is so full of self-centeredness.
You are welcome to team up with us in this noble task and vision to bless humanity.
